Why Hello there! Long time no see! It’s been absolutely YONKS since Bookie Monster last updated, hasn’t it? Just over a year, the work experience kid tells me! Well well well, I guess I owe you an explanation–no no! I won’t hear of it! It’s only polite!
The truth is, the Bookie Monster suffers from a chronic mood-disorder. It affects him all-year round but tends to really hit its peak in the winter months. At this point, the Bookie Monster finds it hard to get out of bed and fetch cookies from the kitchen, let alone new books from the bookstore! Some days, he even loses the ability to read! (It’s quite distressing, but nothing a few magic cookies don’t fix)
But enough about that! Obviously the Bookie Monster is well enough to read and type again, so we shall try to get on with the fun as soon as possible–to a more relaxed schedule of course!
PS–Comments about the site in general can now be left on this page! They’re still facing moderation for the moment, though.
